I started this blog a year and a half ago during a transitional period in my personal life and career. Then, I took an extended break from posting while I adjusted to new responsibilities and a new schedule. Now, I feel ready to return to blogging... so here goes.
Although the trends change from time to time, classic looks never go out of style. and since I haven't been just living under a rock during all this time away, I've seen quite a few changes over the last year. Most notably, the skinny jeans look came into style and has continued to stick around. While I am not a fan, due to my curvy thighs, I've seen some people rock this look with quite a bit of success.
And that's what style is all about... finding something classic that works for your frame, your features, your coloring, and pairing it with something new, something eye-catching, or something just plain unique to you. Fashion is an ongoing conversation with the world around you, using fabric, color, and texture. When you take the time to develop your personal sense of style and a quality wardrobe with classic, unique, and memorable pieces, your confidence and personality will shine through and people will take notice.
So go out there and shop for America!
